You become an exchange student by first contacting a student exchange program like AFS, Rotary, or YFU. Then you apply by collecting lots of papers etc. You should talk to you counselor, because you need to work out what classes you will take before and after you go. You can go for a semester, summer, or year. You don't have to have straight A's. If you have B's or even a few C's you should be okay. Here are some sights of programs about how to become one: http://www.yfu-usa.org/ http://www.usa.afs.org/usa_en/focus_on/high_school http://www.rotary.org/en/StudentsAndYouth/youthprograms/RotaryYouthExchange/Pages/ridefault.aspx And here are some other good websites for exchange students: http://www.cultures-shocked.org/Joomla/forum/ http://www.exchangestudentworld.com/ ~good luck!
