Let you school counselor know about it, as soon as possible. If you don't have a counselor, ask a favorite teacher and your principal. They'll be able to steer you in the right direction.
2 :
Who want to exchange with you? you can't even spell foreign
3 :
Programs in high school are usually thousands of dollars, as far as I know. If you wait until you're in college you can do exchanges for virtually nothing. If you really want to do it though, talk to your counselor. Your other problem is that many programs don't accept anyone under the age of 16 or, more frequently, 18.
4 :
scholar ship, or get an educational grant

Has anyone ever been a foreign exchange student in Italy, Sweden, or Australia?

Has anyone ever been a foreign exchange student in Italy, Sweden, or Australia?
If so could you tell me what you liked most about it and least about it and if you would recommend that country to study in. I'm in high school and thinking about going to one of those places so any input would be helpful. thank you!

I attended Uppsala Universitetet in Uppsala, Sweden for my junior year in college. I found Swedish to be ridiculously easy to learn since it is very similar to English; the pronunciation can be tough, though, as they have several speech sounds that English doesn't. Almost all classes are taught in English, and they use English-language textbooks (too expensive to translate every book into Swedish!). If you are accustomed to VERY cold, windy weather in the wintertime and really long winter nights (20hrs, on avg. in Uppsala), you'll get along fine. Late spring, summer, and fall are gorgeous. At midsummer (late June), the days are about 22hrs long. Swedes are probably the most reserved of all Europeans, so most people you'll hang with will likely be other foreign students. The Swedish government allows several weeks of vacation, both in winter and in summer. That means your winter break will be about 6 weeks. It's plenty of time to explore the rest of Europe and get some sunshine! Sweden is REALLY expensive, so be prepared.

Yeah you'll get shocked for sure. We are all cannibals, you know Hannibal Lecter? And oh, I forgot, we love Australian meat. Come on! Culture shock? If you're afraid then stay at home! If you travel you have to get used to different cultures!

check out www.lifeinitaly.com they have lots of info, blogs, a chat box, faq, daily news and places where u can ask questions. have fun!

You'll be fine! No worries! Just go and immerse yourself in the culture...you'll be surprised by how much you absorb. I have friends that live in Italy (2 are from Italy and 1 is married to an Italian and is now speaking fluently). Just take it all in! IT WILL BE OK!

Make sure you get the pronunciation of Italia correct. It-alia not I-talia. hard to explain but def ask before you go!
