Should I be a foreign exchange student at Spain or Italy?
I can't decide. I already know Spanish, btw. Sorry, I forgot to mention that.

THey are both awesome and I definitely recommend doing either, but learning spanish could help in the future and you can always visit Italy by train it isnt too far nor too expensive.

Italy

i guess it would depend on what studies you're planning to take and why you should go to either spain or italy. both are beautiful countries btw, so much life and culture in them but you have to ask yourself what academics course is best and what country has the best university that program can offer you. besides, if anything, barcelona to milan (or milan to barcelona) is only a train ride away! :) good luck

well just so you know, spanish isnt the official language of spain. its Castilian which is generally percieved as spanish. but since you know spanish, then go to italy cause learning italian is a heck of a lot easier with your background of spanish

If you already know Spanish you should take advantage of the opportunity and learn another language. So I say Italy. Which program are you going with? Here's a great exchange student forum you should join, http://www.cultures-shocked.org/Joomla/forum/index.php?
